If we were to choose a popular myth about livecamming, the most popular one would probably be the fact that beauty is the key ingredient in the recipe for success. This one would also be the most inaccurate misconception on this topic. There is no lie that the job of an online model consists in „selling” her image, but an empty shell doesn’t have the capacity to generate a significant amount of money, in a field based on communication. Well, that’s because, as odd as it might sound, those people who turn to livecamming platforms are actually looking for real connections, in a virtual world.

Even our dearest Bianca Dragusanu has recently declared, during an interview on a national TV channel, that her financial success doesn’t come from her physical appearance, but from her smartness: „This country is packed with beautiful women, but the brain is the one making the difference”. We couldn’t have said it better, because the livecamming industry makes no exception to this rule. 

Over time we have met some extremely beautiful models, who, despite their flawless appearance, didn’t manage to earn a significant amount of money, to match their beauty. It’s obvious that having good looks is an important card to play, but if it’s not backed by an interesting personality and a sharp mind, the chances of success in such a competitive field are pretty low.

Having a solid general knowledge, speaking a foreing language, being curious about learning something new everyday and developing emotional intelligence are the key ingredients for success, regardless of the profession.
